TAKING THE BEIJING SUBWAY
The Beijing Subway is an excellent option for those visiting Beijing for the first time, as it is the quickest and cheapest way to get around the city. The Beijing subway operates from approximately 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily. However, the exact timetable and frequency of trains can vary by line and station. During peak hours, trains typically run every 3-5 minutes, while during off-peak hours, trains may run every 6-10 minutes.
There are several useful mobile apps for navigating the Beijing subway system.

One popular app is the “Beijing Subway – MTRC map,” which provides a detailed map of the subway system and allows users to plan their routes and check for any delays or disruptions.

Beijing Weather in March
Prepare for cool weather in March. Expect cool and dry weather, with average daytime temperatures ranging from 5°C to 15°C (41°F to 59°F). Nighttime temperatures can be colder, so bring warm layers. The conference spaces will be well-heated. Dressing in layers will help you stay comfortable and adjust to the temperature change throughout the day.

SHOPPING CENTERS AND RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA
Shine City (中粮.祥云国际生活区)
Shine City is the largest mall in the area, containing an extensive variety of restaurants and stores. Most of these will be open until 9-10pm, although some will be open until midnight. You can find both local and western restaurants, as well as a number of local and foreign shops. Shine City is a few minutes further away from the recommended hotels.
Europlaza
Euro Plaza is a shopping center located about 5 minutes away from ISB, within walking distance of the Crowne Plaza hotel. You can find both local and western restaurants, with a local food court in the basement. It also offers a large variety of stores, which will close at 10pm.
Pinnacle Plaza
Pinnacle Plaza is down the road from Europlaza, and about 4 km away from ISB. It is also within the walking stance of Crowne Plaza hotel. It offers an open and more natural enviuronment compared to the other highly commercialized malls. Pinnacle Plaza offers a variety of restaurants, largely western. Most of these restaurants will open past 9pm. Pinnacle Plaza is also the place where you can find the closest clinic, a Beijing United branch.
